Set TV speakers to EasyLink mode

When you play con tent from an E asyLink compliant
home theate r, the TV speaker s are automatically
muted.
1 Enable one -touch play and one-touch
standby b etween your Easylin k compliant
devices by followi ng the instructio ns
in the previous section (see ‘Enable or
disable Ea syLink’ on page 35).
2 Press MENU.
3 Press to select [Setup] > [Sound]
> [TV spe akers] > [Auto EasyLink].
The TV speakers are turned off »
automatically when content from an
Easylink compliant system is detected.
4 Press to select [Setup] > [Sound]
> [TV spe akers] > [On] to disable
system au dio control and enable t he TV
speakers.
Note
To mute the TV sp eakers, selec t [TV
speakers] > [Off].
Use a Kensington lock
There is a Kensington security slot at the back
of the TV. Prevent theft by looping a Kensington
lock between the slot and a permanent object,
such as a heavy table.

EasyLink features

One-touc h play
When you conne ct your TV to devices that
suppor t one-touch play, you can control yo ur
TV and the d evices with one remote co ntrol.
One-touc h standby
When you conne ct your TV to devices that
suppor t standby, you can use your TV r emote
control to pu t your TV and all connec ted
HDMI device s in standby mode.
System audio control
When you conne ct your TV to HDMI
CEC compliant devices, your TV can
switch au tomatically to play audio fr om the
connecte d device.
To use one-touch audio , you must map the
audio inpu t from the connected de vice to
your TV.
You can use the remot e control from the
connected d evice to adjust the volume .

Enable or disable EasyLink

Note
Do not enable P hilips EasyLin k if you do not
intend to use i t.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select
[Setup] > [Installation] > [Preferences]
> [EasyLink].
3 Select [On] or [Off].

Use one-touch play

1 After ena bling EasyLink, p ress play on
your device.
The TV automatically switches to the »
correct source.

Use one-touch standby

1 Press (Standby-On) on the TV’s or
device’s remot e control.
The TV and all connected HDMI »
devices switch to standby.
