Charge the parent unit

Note

••Make sure that the parent unit is disconnected from the mains and turned off.

1Remove the lid of the battery compartment.

2Insert the supplied rechargeable batteries with the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.

3Reattach the lid.

4Connect a supplied adapter to the parent unit and to the mains socket to start charging.

»»During charging, the battery indicator flashes green.

Tip

••The rechargeable batteries only reach the full capacity after you charge them for four times.

••For the first 4 times, the charging time is 10 hours, and the operating time is less than 24 hours.

••The normal charging time is 8 hours, and the normal operating time is 24 hours.

Set up the baby unit

You can connect the baby unit to the mains or

insert non-rechargeable batteries to operate it. For added reassurance, insert non-rechargeable batteries to guarantee a backup in case of

power supply failure.

1Before you connect the baby unit to the mains socket, remove the lid of the battery compartment.

2Insert four non-rechargeable 1.5V R6 AA batteries with the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.

3Reattach the lid.

4Connect a supplied adapter to the baby unit and to the mains socket.
