10Tuner indicators

/ MONO

Lights when the mono mode is set using the MPX button.

/ STEREO

Lights when a stereo FM broadcast is being received in auto stereo mode.

/ TUNED

Lights when a broadcast is being received.

11EON/RDS indicators

EON – Lights when the EON mode is set, and flashes during an EON broadcast. The

indicator lights when the current station carries the EON service (page 40).

RDS – Lights when an RDS broadcast is received (page 39).

12Speaker indicator

Shows if the speaker system is on or not. SP A means the speakers are switched on. SP means the headphones are connected.

13Sound Retriever indicators (VSX-516 model only)

Light when the Sound Retriever is switched on (page 30).

14Character display

15Neo:6 (VSX-516 model only)

When the (STANDARD) Neo:6 mode of the receiver is on, this lights to indicate Neo:6 processing.

20 LOUDNESS

Lights during Loudness listening (page 29).

21EX (VSX-516 model only)

Lights when a Dolby Digital Surround EX encoded signal is detected.

22Master volume level

23MCACC channel EQ indicators (VSX-516 model only)

These indicators show the EQ balance for each channel in Checking your Acoustic Calibration EQ settings on page 34.
