Basic operation

Functionsallocated to the following opera-
tionsare different depending on the con-
nectedexternal unit. For details concerning

%PressBAND/ESC.
%Pressand hold BAND/ESC.
%PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right.
%Pushand hold MULTI-CONTROL left or
right.
%PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down.

Advanced operations

1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the
function.

Note
Toreturn to the ordinary display, press
BAND/ESC.
Turningthe clock displayon or off
Youcan turn the clock display on or off.
!Evenwhen the sources and the feature
demoare off, the clock display appears on
thedisplay.
%PressCLOCK to turn the clock display
onor off.
Eachpress of CLOCK turns the clock display
onor off.
#Theclock display disappears temporarily
whenyou perform other operations, but the clock
displayappears again after 25 seconds.
Switching the displayindication and buttonillumination
Displayindication and button illumination can
beswitched on or off.
%Pressand hold DISP OFF.
Pressingand holding DISP OFF switches the
displayindication and button illumination on
oroff.
#Whilethe display indication is turned off,
CLOCK/DISPOFF button lights up.
#Evenif the display indication is turned off, op-
erationcan be conducted. If operation is con-
ductedwhile the display indication is off, display
willlight up for a few seconds and then turn off
again.
Using the PGM button
Youcan operate the preprogrammed functions
foreach source by using PGM on the remote
control.
Theremote control CD-R510 is sold separately.
%PressPGM to turn pause on whense-
lectingthe following sources:
!COMPACTDISC Built-in CD player
!USBUSB portable audio player/USB
memory
!IPODiPod
!MULTICD Multi-CD player
!BTAUDIO Bluetooth audio player
!DVDDVD player/multi-DVD player
#Toturn pause off, press PGM again.
