Method A

Installation Using the Mounting Base and the Bracket

Precaution:

•To avoid it being a hindrance to driving, always install the remote control unit to the passenger’s side – not the driver’s side.

•Install the mounting base so that the remote control unit is slanting upwards at an angle when fitted.

•Before using double-sided tape, clean off any dirt on the surface to which the double-sided tape is to be attached.

•Before drilling any mounting holes, confirm that the screws will not interfere with any of the cars oper- ating systems (such as the fuel line, brake lines, electrical wiring, etc.).

Method A

This example is for when the console is wide enough to have installation space for the mount- ing base.

Note:

•Install the mounting base in such a way that it will not hit the seat when the seat is adjusted.
