Selecting songs fromalbum listof currently playing artist

Albumlist of the currently selected artist is

displayed.You can select an album or song

fromthe artist name.

!Dependingon the number of files in the

iPod,there may be a delay when displaying

alist.

1 Pressand hold LIST to turn link search

on.

Searchesalbums of the artist and displays the

list.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select an album

orsong from the list.

Operating this unit’siPodfunction from your iPod

Thisfunction cannot be operated with the fol-

lowingiPod models.

Thisunit’s iPod function can be operated from

youriPod. Sound can be heard from the car ’s

speakers,and operation can be conducted

fromyour iPod.

!Whilethis function is in use, even if the

ignitionkey is turned off, the iPod will not

beturned off. To turn off power,operate the

iPod.

1 PressiPod and hold to switch thecon-

trolmode.

Eachpressing and holding iPod switches the

controlmode as follows:

!IPOD–This unit’s iPod function can be op-

eratedfrom the connected iPod.

!AUDIO–This unit’s iPod function can be

operatedfrom this unit.

#Evenif this function is performed, volume,

trackup/down and fast forward/reverse can be

operatedfrom this unit.

2 Operatethe connected iPod to select a

songand play.

#SwitchingCONTROL to IPOD pauses song

playback.Operate the iPod to start playback.

!Youcan also turn this function on or off in the

menuthat appears by using

MULTI-CONTROL.

!Whenthis function is on, operations are lim-

itedas follows:

—Functionsother than CONTROL (control

mode), PAUSE (pause) and

SOUNDRETRIEVER (advanced sound re-

triever)cannot be selected.

—Browsefunction cannot be operated from

thisunit.

Changing audiobook speed

Whilelistening to an audiobook on iPod, play-

backspeed can be changed.
