TV tuner
Basic Operations
Youcan use this unit to control a TV tuner,
whichis sold separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
TVtuner ’s operation manual. This section pro-
videsinformation onTV operations withthis
unit,which differs from that described in the
TVtuner ’s operation manual.
%Selecta band
PressBAND/ESC.
%Selecta channel (step by step)
PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right.
%Seektuning
Pushand hold MULTI-CONTROL left or right,
andthen release.
Notes
!Bandcan be selected from TV1 or TV2.
!Youcan cancel seek tuning by pushing
MULTI-CONTROLleft or right.
!Whilepushing and holding MULTI-CONTROL
leftor right, you can skip stations. Seek tuning
startsas soon as you release
MULTI-CONTROL.
Storing and recallingbroadcast
stations
Youcan easily store up to 12 broadcast sta-
tionsfor later recall.
!12stations for each band can be stored in
memory.
1 PressLIST.
Presetscreen is displayed.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to store the se-
lectedstation in memory.
Turnto change the preset number. Press and
holdto store.
#Youcan also store the station in memory by
pushingand holding MULTI-CONTROL right.
3 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select the de-
siredstation.
Turnto change the station. Press to select.
#Youcan also change the station by pushing
MULTI-CONTROLup or down.
#Ifyou do not operate the list within about 30
seconds,the display automatically returns to the
ordinarydisplay.

Storing the strongestbroadcast

stations sequentially

1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL and select
FUNCTIONto display BSSM.
#Youcan also select the function by pressing
FUNCTIONon the remote control.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn BSSM
on.
SEARCHbegins to flash. While SEARCH is
flashing,the 12 strongest broadcast stations
arestored in order fromthe lowest channel
up.When finished, the preset channel list ap-
pears.
#Tocancel the storage process, press
MULTI-CONTROLagain.
4 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select the de-
siredstation.
Turnto change the station. Press to select.
#Youcan also change the station by pushing
MULTI-CONTROLup or down.
#Toreturn to the channel display, press
BAND/ESC.
#Ifyou do not operate the list within about 30
seconds,the display automatically returns to the
ordinarydisplay.
