Waking up to a CD

English

You can use the timer as an alarm clock to wake up to the sound of a CD. Once the timer

is active, it will switch the system on and start playing a CD everyday at the set time.

Note: If there is a power failure or the system is unplugged from the wall outlet, the

display shows AM 12:00 once power is restored until you reset the clock. You can’t use the

timer until you set the clock.

6Check the settings you just made.

The display should indicate that you set the wake up timer, then show the on time, the off time, the function (CD), and the volume.

There isn't any way to edit these settings, so if you need to change something, simply set the timer again.

7 Switch the system into standby.

The timer will not work if the system is left on! If the clock display is set to on, the wake up timer indicator ( ) lights to show that the timer is now set.

• This system has a snooze feature so that after the CD has started playing you can switch it off for five minutes for a little more sleep. Use the SNOOZE button (remote only) to do this.

• If you programmed a playlist, it will start playing when the wake up timer switches the system on.
