3 Taking Pictures

Before you take pictures, pleas e read this note rst:

IMPORTAN T!
Never remove batte ries while a pic ture is being sa ved. Doing so wil l prevent
the current picture being saved an d may corrupt other pictures alre ady stored
in the camera’s internal me mory or on a memory ca rd.
Outdoor Pictures Wi thout the Flash
• Avoid intense sunlight that m ay cause sun spots in picture s.
• Always make sure that the sun or other light s ource is in front of the
subject.

• Taking Pictures in the Normal Mo de

Taking p ictures at approximately 3.2 feet to innit y (1.0 meter to
innity).
1. Turn on the came ra.
2. Set the ca mera to Still Image mode.
3. Slide t he Normal/Macr o mode switch to
to activa te the Normal mode. The image
displayed on the LCD screen will chan ge
accordingly.

NOTE:
The icon will appear o n the LC D screen, indicating the Normal mode is
activated.

4. Frame you r subject using the LCD scre en or the viewnder.

5. Press the Sh utter butto n completely down to take a picture whi le

holding the cam era steady. A beep will sound (i f the Beep so und is

turned on) when a pictu re is taken.
