• Using Your Batteries
IMPORTANT NOTE:
For best performance and prolo nged battery life, we recommen d the use of AA
lithium or rechargea ble NiMH.
Limit the following act ivities that reduces ba ttery life:
• Reviewing your pictures on t he LCD screen.
• Using the LCD screen to take pictures (U se the optical viewnder to
frame pictures).
• Excessive use of the ash.
WARNING!
• Batteries should be replaced by an a dult.
• Do not mix different types of batteri es (or new and used batter ies).
• Use recommended or equivalent ty pe of batteries only.
• Insert the batteries in the corre ct polarity.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the ca mera immediately.
• Do not short the supply terminals.
• Do not dispose the batteries in re.
• Remove batteries from the camera when n ot in use.
These instructions s hould be retained for futu re reference.
