Chapter 1: Introduction

WebPAM Software

The Web-based Promise Array Management (WebPAM) RAID management software offers local management and monitoring of FastTrak disk arrays. Browser-based GUI provides email notification of all major events or alarms, memory cache management, logging for Windows servers, disk array maintenance, rebuild, and access to all components in disk array (server, controller, data channels, individual drives, and enclosure).

WebPAM also displays messages about critical events on the Host PC’s monitor screen even if your browser is closed.

For information on using WebPAM, refer to “Chapter 5: WebPAM” on page 43.
