more record chan nel s. Please use【ENTER】or【 EDIT】key to change the flag to “ü”.
Note: In order t o make th e camer as st art r ecordi ng, i n “Recor ding” menu, you mus t ena ble
recording schedule and set “Rec Type” as “Motion Detection” or “Motion | Alarm”. Please refer to
chapter 5.12 for recording setup.
Step 7: Motion alarm schedule: When the motion occurs during a schedule, DVR will
respond with “ On Scree n Warning” , “Aud ible Warni ng”, “ Uploa d to Cent er” or “Trigg er Ala rm
Output”. You can setup 4 time periods for one day and 7 days for one week.
Note: Time periods i n one day can not be r ep eated.
Step 8: Motion alarm handle method setup: You can select one or more ha ndle methods
such as “On Sc reen Warning”, “ Audible Warning”, “Upload to C enter” and “ Trigger Alar m
Output”.

DVR will display t hem on e by one e very 10 s econds . When t he moti on alar m is has en ded the
DVR will return to preview mode.
Step 9: Save motion alarm setup: Press “Confirm” but t on to return “I mage Setup” menu. In
the “Image Setup” menu, press “Confirm” button to save the current camera parameters.
Step 10: Save all cameras: You can repeat from ste p2 to ste p8 to set up motio n detect ion
parameters for other camer as. You can also c opy the para meters of o ne camera to a ny other
camera or cameras.
Note: Motion alarm area can not be copied.
If you want to disa bl e mo t io n a la r m area and motion al a rm p ol i c y, you jus t need to select t h e
motion alarm sensitivity as “Off”.
6.11 Preview Properties
In “Preview” men u, y o u ca n s et up preview mode, s cr e e n s wi tc h time, enable or di s a b le a udio
preview and preview layout.
Step 1: Enter into “Preview” menu: In the main menu, move “Active Frame” to “Preview”
icon and press【ENTER】, you will enter into “preview” menu.
