Step 2: Preview properties:
Preview mode: For preview mode item, you can use【↑】【↓】key to select one mode. If DVR
has only 1 chan nel, y ou ca n selec t onl y “1 Scree n” opti on. I f DVR ha s 4 c hannel s, t here ar e “ 1
Screen” and “4 Scree n” opt ions . If D VR has more than 4 but l ess t han 9 chann els, t here are “ 1
Screen”, “4 Screen” and “ 9 Screen” opti ons. If DVR ha s 16 channels, there ar e “1 Screen”, “4
Screen”, “9 Screen”, “12 Screen” and “16 Screen” options.
Switch time: That is image preview swit ch time. You can use【↑】【↓】keys to select switch
time. There are many options, including “5 Seconds”, “10 Seconds”, “20 Seconds”, “30 Seconds”,
“60 seconds”, “120 seconds”, “600 seconds” and “Never”. If you select “Never”, the preview
image will not be switched automatically. For example, for 16 channel DVR, if you select “4
Screen” preview mod e and “ 20 Seco nds” s witc h ti me, D VR wi ll cy cle dis play 4 cha nnels ima ge
every 20 seconds.
Audio preview: If you enable audio preview ( “ ü” ) , whe n y ou pr e vie w si ngl e ca mera, DVR
will play the audio of that channel.
Preview layout setup: There is a square frame divide d i nto man y wi ndo ws. If yo u sel ect “ 4
Screen”preview mode, this frame i s di vi ded into 4 windo ws . E a ch wi ndow represents one camera.
You can move “Active Frame” among the windows. There is one bar under the square to display
the preview order of all cameras.
First select the biggest screen pre view mode, for example, for 16-channel D VR, select “16
Screen” preview mode so that all windows are display in the square.
Second, move “Active Frame” to one of these windows, press numeric keys to input camera
index (If DVR has less than 10 channels, just use one numeric key, otherwise, use 2 numeric keys).
The small window wi ll di s p la y t ha t c a mera number. In thi s wa y y o u c a n c ha ng e t h e dis play order.
If you press 0 or 00, then the corresponding window will not display live video.
After you define t he camera preview or der, you can select pr eview mode to meet y our needs.
Save setup: Press “Confirm” butt o n t o save preview pr o p er t ies . Press “Cancel ” or 【ESC】
key to abort.
