Note: The backup function is effective when two channels are played back simultaneously. In such case, each channel can backup 30 segments so 60 segments can be backed up for two channels.

Playback the video segment

You can use our file player software to playback the video segment in PC. You can find the player software on the included CD.

Exit playback interface

4.8Shut Down DVR

Note: Do not switch off the power directly in case of damaging HDD. The correct step is using “Power Off” in the “Utilities” menu, orPOWERkey on the front panel or on IR controller.

Shut down DVR normally

Use menu

Enter into “Utilities” menu, move “Active Frame” to “Power Off” button and enter into power off dialog box, press “Confirm” to shut down the DVR.

UsePOWERkey of front panel or IR controller

PressPOWERkey for 3 seconds.

In preview mode, a login dialog box will pop-up, select user name and input password, press

incorrect password three times, DVR will return preview mode.

In menu mode, if the user has “Utilities” right, you can enter into power off dialog box, press
