Installing Promise RAID Controller Software

If you are using Promise RAID controllers on a Windows Server 2008 64- bit system, you must install Promise’s PerfectPath software. If you do not install this software you can still access (read from and write to) your RAIDs, but you will be unable to failover your controller.

Promise is working on a solution to this problem, but in the meantime they have provided the following workaround.

1Install the PerfectPath software on your Windows Server 2008 64-bit system.

2Restart your system.
