Programming Home Theater Macros
The Home Theater mode also includes three exclusive
macro keys (SET 1, SET 2, and SET 3). You can store up
to 15 keystrokes (including learned keys) on each macro
key. For example, you can create a macro that powers
on each device in your home theater system with the
convenience of a single key touch.
Note: Macros can include learned keys, but not moved
keys.
1. Turn off all home entertainment devices.
2. Hold down P for at least 3 seconds. 9E:;ý I;J

3. Touch the down arrow four times. C79HEý A;O

Note: If you scroll past C79HEýA;O

, touch the up
arrow to return to it.
4. Touch SELECT. I;BýC79HE

5. Press a macro key (SET 1, SET 2, or SET 3). ;DJ

C79HE appears. For the example, press SET 1.
Note: Pressing a previously-programmed macro
key will overwrite its contents.
6. Press the appropriate keys in the desired order.
For the example, entering the following keys in the
below order to program SET 1 to turn on the TV and
cable box, then tune the cable to channel 061.
Touch TV. I;BýJEý;D:
I;BýJEý;D:I;BýJEý;D:
I;BýJEý;D: appears.
Note: I;BýJEý ;D :
I;BýJEý ;D:I;BýJEý ;D:
I;BýJEý ;D: prompts you to press SELECT
when you reach the end of the macro sequence you
are entering.
Press POWER to turn on the TV.
Touch CAB/SAT to select the cable box.
Press POWER to turn on the cable box.
