PROGRAMMING A TIMED MACRO SEQUENCE

You can use timed macro sequences to store up to 15 keystrokes (including learned keys) to be run on a spe- cific day and time.

You can also use timed macro sequences to turn on a device for a preset time period on a daily or weekly ba- sis. For example, you can use it as an alternative meth- od of recording an hour-long soap opera (that starts at 2:00 PM on Channel 4, each weekday) on your VCR.

Note: If no key is pressed for 60 seconds, the remote control automatically exits setup. ;N?J?D= appears, and the remote returns to the previous mode screen.

Follow these steps to program a timed macro sequence.

1.Turn on all home entertainment devices.

2.Hold down P for at least 3 seconds. 9E:;ý I;J appears.

Note: To exit setup, hold down P for at least 3 sec- onds. ;N?J?D= appears, then the last-used mode screen.

Note: If you scroll past C79HEýI;G, touch the down arrow to return to it.
