TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have problems using your TAD, try these suggestions. If you still have prob- lems, contact your local RadioShack store for assistance.

Problem	Suggestion
The incoming message is	Be sure the memory is not full.
incomplete.
	The caller’s message was longer than 60 sec-
	onds.
	The caller was silent for more than 8 seconds.
The incoming message is	Adjust VOLUME.
unclear.
The TAD does not answer after	Be sure the TAD is set to answer calls.

ANSWER indicator flashes.	The backup battery is weak or missing.
	Replace the battery (see “Installing a Backup
	Battery” on Page 6).
The TAD does not respond to	Make sure the phone you used to dial the TAD
