3Para iniciar o tratamento, pressione .

Se seu médico tiver configurado o dispositivo para iniciar automaticamente o tratamento usando SmartStart™, o dispositivo começará a funcionar quando você respirar pela máscara.

4Coloque a máscara da forma descrita nas instruções do usuário da máscara.

AVISO

! A máscara só deve ser usada com o dispositivo Série S8 II ligado e funcionando

corretamente.

No início do tratamento, se a rampa estiver ativada, a pressão subirá, durante o período definido, de uma pressão baixa até a pressão de tratamento prescrita. O processo de rampa foi concebido para ajudá-lo a se adaptar gradualmente ao aumento de pressão, aprimorando o conforto.

Interrupção do tratamento

Para parar o tratamento a qualquer momento, remova sua máscara e pressione

Se a função SmartStart tiver sido ativada pelo médico, basta remover a máscara para interromper o tratamento.

Alteração das configurações no dispositivo S8 II

Você pode alterar algumas configurações (p. ex., tempo de rampa, nível de APE) no S8

IIusando o teclado e o visor LCD. Quando o dispositivo está no modo de espera, você pode exibir uma série de telas (um menu) no visor LCD para visualizar e alterar as configurações de determinada função.
