Using a Remote Control

The remote control described is included with the optional DVD Interface Kit (PN 9100-000-804).Similar remote controls using the same terminology are included with other Rosen/necvox products taht are compatible with the DVA- 3210.

Aim the remote control towards the external IR receiver (with in-dash products, the receiver is on the front panel). The remote control can operate at up to a 30-degree angle from the front of the unit.

If you try to perform an action that is not permitted at the moment, the DVA-3210 displays the following symbol on the connected video monitor:

This is typically displayed if a key is pressed during disc loading or ejecting, during the introduction section of a disc, or if you attempt to access certain sections of the Setup menu while the disc is in Play, Pause, or “pre-stop” mode. Also, this symbol will be displayed whenever the DVD disc inserted disallows the attempted action.
