•Usled prosipanja kisele tečnosti, poput sirćeta, soka od limuna i sredstva za čišćenje kamenca na okvir grejne ploče mogu nastati tamne mrlje.

•Ako se šećer ili smesa koja sadrži šećer prospe na vrelu ringlu i istopi, odmah je očistite pomoću strugalice dok je još vrela. Ako ostavite da se ohladi, pri uklanjanju se može oštetiti površina.

•Materijal koji može da se istopi, poput plastike i folije, držite dalje od grejne ploče. U slučaju da se ovaj materijal istopi na površini za kuvanje, odmah ga uklonite pomoću strugalice.
