M The length of the section to be deleted must be at least 5 seconds long.

End point cannot be marked earlier than start point.

The section cannot be deleted when it includes a still picture.

Dividing a title into two (Divide Title)

Follow these instructions to divide a title into two.

XCVK

(VR mode)

1.Press the TITLE LIST button.

The Title List screen is displayed.			DVD	Divide Title (Original)							12:00

2. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select a title you want to divide from the
											Point
Title List, then press the OK button.											Divide
3. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Divide Title, then press the OK button.									Start 00:00:00

4. Press the OK button at the point where you want to divide the title.	> Move					sOk			rReturn		eExit
The Divide is selected.

You will be prompted with a confi rmation message.											Point
The Message “Do you want to divide title “No.01”?” is displayed.					Do you want to			divide	title "No. 01"?
To reset the dividing point, select No and press the OK button, then repeat from step 4.									Start 00:00:02
The display asks whether you want to rename the title.	►	Title No. 1					Yes		No

The Title Name screen is displayed.

7.Follow steps 3 to 5 of Renaming (Labeling) a Title (page 71) to complete renaming. The devided title appears in the Title List with the new name.

Creating a Playlist

Follow these instructions to create a new playlist title from a recorded title.

(VR mode)

1.	With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU button.
2.	Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Edit, then press the OK button.
3.	Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Create Playlist, then press the
	OK button.
	The Create Playlist screen is displayed.
4.	Press the OK button at the start point.
	• The image and time at the start point are displayed on the Start
