Sensor de imagen

La parte física de una cámara digital que contiene un fotosito por cada píxel de la imagen. Cada fotosito registra el brillo de la luz que se refleja en él durante una exposición. Algunos tipos de sensor comunes con CCD (dispositivo de vargas acopladas) y CMOS (semiconductor complementario de óxido metálico.

Dirección de IP (Protocolo de Internet)

Una dirección de IP es un número único que se asigna a cada uno de los dispositivos conectados a Internet.

Sensibilidad ISO

La sensibilidad de la cámara a la luz, basada en una velocidad de película equivalente utilizada en una cámara de película. Con mayores ajustes de sensibilidad de ISO, la cámara utiliza una mayor velocidad en el obturador, lo cual puede reducir el efecto borroso provocado por el movimiento

de la cámara y la baja iluminación. Sin embargo, las imágenes con alta sensibilidad son más susceptibles al ruido.

JPEG (Grupo de expertos fotográficos conjunto)

Un método dieléctrico de compresión para imágenes digitales. Las imágenes JPEG son comprimidas para reducir su tamaño con un mínimo deterioro de su resolución.

Medición

El modo de medición hace referencia a la manera en la que la cámara mide la cantidad de luz para definir la exposición.

MF (Enfoque manual)

Un sistema que enfoca la lente de la cámara en el sujeto automáticamente. Puede utilizar el anillo de enfoque para enfocar a un sujeto.

MJPEG (JPEG en movimiento)

Un formato de vídeo que se comprime como una imagen JPEG.

MPO (Objeto de imágenes múltiples)

Un formato de archivos de imagen que contiene múltiples imágenes en un mismo archivo. Un archivo MPO proporciona un efecto tridimensional en las pantallas compatibles con MPO, como los TV 3D o los monitores 3D.
