EV (Valor de exposición)

Todas las combinaciones de velocidad del obturador y apertura de la lente que resultan en la misma exposición.

Flash

Una luz de velocidad que ayuda a crear una exposición adecuada en condiciones de poca iluminación.

Compensación de EV

Esta función le permite ajustar rápidamente el valor de exposición medido por la cámara, en incrementos limitados, para mejorar la exposición de sus fotografías.

Exif (Formato de archivo de imagen intercambiable)

Una especificación que define el formato de archivo de una imagen para cámaras digitales por la Asociación de Desarrollo de Industrias de Japan Electronic (JEIDA).

Exposición

La cantidad de luz que llega al sensor de la cámara. La exposición es controlada por una combinación de la velocidad del obturador, el valor de apertura y la sensibilidad de ISO.

Distancia focal

La distancia desde el centro de la lente hasta el punto focal (en milímetros). El resultado de una distancia focal más larga son ángulos de vista más angostos y un sujeto ampliado. Con una distancia focal más corta se obtienen ángulos de vista más anchos.

Histograma

Una representación gráfica del brillo de una imagen. El eje horizontal representa el brillo y el eje vertical representa la cantidad de píxeles. Los puntos del lado izquierdo (muy oscuro) y derecho (muy claro) en el histograma indican una fotografía con una exposición incorrecta.

H.264/MPEG-4

Un formato de vídeo de alta compresión establecido por las organizaciones internacionales de normalización ISO-IEC y ITU-T. Este codec es capaz de proporcionar una buena calidad de vídeo en bajas tasas de bits desarrolladas por el equipo de vídeo conjunto (JVT).
