Notifications
Stay up-to-date with a variety of events, such as missed calls, or new messages received on the connected
mobile device. You can also configure settings for the notification feature.
1. From the Gear Manager screen, tap Notifications, drag the Notifications switch to the right, and then
select from these options:
●Limit notifications: Set notifications, su ch as calls or messages, n ot to alert using the Gear™ 2 .
●Smart relay: Set your mobile device to inst antly alert you to new not ifications when you pic k it up. At
the same time the Gear™ 2 is noti fied of new messages or mis sed calls.
Note: This feature is only available when th e Gear™ 2 screen is turned on.
Some mobile devices do not suppo rt the Smart relay functio n.
The mobile device must be unloc ked first to view details when th e screen is locked.
●Preview message: Set pop-up windows to di splay the applicatio n name or the content.
●Keep screen off: Set to receive notificati ons with the display turn ed off.
●INSTANT ALERTS FOR GEAR: Set the items to receive direc tly on the Gear™ 2.
●NOTIFICATIONS FOR GEAR: Set the items to notify on th e Gear™ 2 if they are not checked on t he
connected mobile device.
●GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS: Set additional items to not ify on the Gear™ 2.
