Exercise
Use this application to set diet and calorie goals and plan your exercise program. View the completed exercise
and compare it with your exercise goal. You can also record your exercise achievements in a log.
If you have just purchased or have reset the Gear™ 2, read the on-screen information about the
application and tap OK.
Note: The connected mobile device’s GPS fe ature is used to check informatio n, such as altitude and speed ,
when you are cycling or hiking. Ensure t hat the Gear™ 2 and the mobile devic e are connected while using
this feature.
In cold weather conditions:
It is best to use the device indo ors.
Cover the Gear™ 2 with your sleeve s before using it, if you use th e device outside in cold we ather.
Measure your heart rate befo re you start to exercise. Hear t rate measurements may be in accurate If
you measure your heart rate during exercise.
If you have just purchased or have re set the Gear™ 2, read the displ ayed information about the
application and create you r profile. When creating a pro file, you can automatical ly or manually register
your maximum heart rate.
The maximum heart rate is t he fastest heart rate an in dividual can achieve thro ugh exercise. If
you know your maximum hear t rate, enter it manually. If the de vice is set to register the hea rt rate
automatically, the Gear™ 2 cal culates it using ‘210 - 0.65 x age’.
