Example: You wish to say something to a person in the room, but do not want the person on the phone to hear you.
During a call, to switch the microphone off temporarily:
1.Press the Mute. Unmute displays.
2.Press the Unmute to deactivate the Mute function.
Muting or Sending Key Tones
These options allow you to turn the key tones off or on. If the Mute Keys option is selected, your phone does not transmit the DTMF (Dual Tone
Note: To communicate with answering machines or computerized telephone systems, the Send DTMF option must be selected.
Searching for a Number in Address Book
You can search for a number in Address Book during a call.
1.Press the Down key to highlight the Contact List option.
2.Use the Navigation keys to select an entry. Enter the first few letters of the name to display entries listed starting
with the first entry matching your input. Press the key to select the contact.
3.Press Options soft key to access the following options:
•Edit: allows you to edit the contact information.
•Send Message: allows you to send the selected contact a message.
•Assign Speed Dial: allows you to assign a speed dial number to the selected contact.
•Copy to Phone: allows you to copy the contact to the phone memory.
•Add to Reject List: allows you to add the selected contact to the reject list.
4.Press the Select soft key to make your selection or the Back soft key to return to the contact information.

Call Waiting
The Call Waiting feature allows you to answer an incoming call while you have a call in progress, if this service is supported by the network, and you have set the Call
To answer a call while you have a call in progress:
1.Press the key or the Accept soft key to answer the incoming call. The first call is automatically put on hold.
