Broadcasting live streaming video from your camcorder

Ustream is the live interactive broadcast platform. Anyone with an internet connection and your camcorder can start engaging with their family, friends or fans anytime, anywhere. Start your own live broadcast via the Ustream web site with the camcorder.

• Before broadcasting with the camcorder, you need to create an account and channel first on the Ustream web site at http://www.ustream.tv.

•How to create a user account and channel may be changed according to the Ustream operating policies. For more information, check Help Centre. at the Ustream web site.

•There may be several seconds and up to 1 minute delay while broadcasting from your camcorder. Speed may depend on your network connection and the traffic at the time of broadcast and the image resolution may deteriorate.

•When you watch an Ustream video via the Ustream web site with a computer, the broadcasting screen is paused or not displayed correctly depending on your computer’s performance.

•In the Ustream mode, you can broadcast a live streaming in the 864x480 resolution only.

•To set each channel password, visit the Ustream web site and then check it.

•The maximum broadcast time is 24 hours. When the total broadcast time of your broadcasting exceeds 24 hours, the camcorder automatically turns off.

•In the Ustream mode, you can broadcast a live streaming for 24 hours but your streaming may be disconnected depending on the situation of the network connection and Ustream web site .

•During the Ustream broadcast, your streaming may not be saved in the Ustream’s server depending on the situation of the Ustream’s server or network connection.

•The Ustream function has been serviced by the contract between Samsung and Ustream. The service may be changed or discontinued depending on the service provider.

How to make an Ustream account and channel

1. Visit the Ustream web site (http://www.ustream.tv) from your computer.

2. Click Sign Up on the web page, fill out the registration form, and click Create My Account.

3. Hover your mouse over your username in the upper right corner of the web page and click Go to Dashboard.

4. Click Create a Channel in the sidebar on the left side of the web page.

5.Type the name of your show in the box that appears and click Create.

6.Choose a category and write a brief description of your show in the box provided and click Save.

7.If you want to make another channel, click Go to Dashboard Create another channel in the sidebar on the left side of the web page.
