Before starting the following procedure, make sure that the battery pack is inserted in your camcorder.

1. Press the power() button to turn off the camcorder and then close the LCD screen. page 31

2.Connect the power cord to the AC Adaptor and the wall outlet.3.Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC IN jack on the camcorder.

•The CHG(charge) lamp lights up and charging starts. After the battery is fully charged, the charging(CHG) lamp turns green.

•The battery pack is not charged during the power saving mode, which may keep the mode indicator on or flashing. Start charging the battery after turning off the camcorder

by pressing the power () button.

•Even with the power is switched off, battery pack will still discharge if the battery pack is left inserted in the camcorder.

•It is recommended you to have one or more additional battery packs to allow continuous

use of your camcorder.
