Recording with Ease for Beginners (EASY Q Mode)

With the EASY Q function, most of the camcorder settings are automatically adjusted. This function frees you from making detailed adjustments.

Select the Video () or Photo () mode by pressing the MODE button. page 33

1.Press the EASY Q button.•( EASY Q ) indicator is displayed.(when activating the EASY Q mode, Anti-shake () indicator also appears.)2.Press the Recording start/stop button or PHOTO button. page 20

•To record videos, press the Recording start/stop button. To record photos, press the PHOTO button.

3.To cancell EASY Q mode, press the EASY Q button again.

•The EASY Q mode automatically sets the following record functions: “SCENE,” ”White Balance,” “Aperture,” “Shutter,” “EV,” “Super C.Nite,” “Back Light,” “Focus,” “Face Detection,” “Anti-Shake (EIS),” “Digital Effect,” “Fader,” “Super Macro,” “ISO,” “Dynamic Range,” “Flash,” “Magic Touch,” “Metering,” “Cont. Shot,” “Bracket Shot,” etc. Cancell the EASY Q function if you want to add effects or settings to the images.

•Unavailable buttons during EASY Q operation:

Menu () tab / Q.MENU button / etc. Most settings are automatically adjusted in EASY Q mode. To set or adjust functions on your own, release the EASY Q mode first.
