Mic Level

Set the mic level for the shooting conditions.

To set the mic	In Shooting mode, press [m]	g Mic Level	rotate
	the navigation button or press [e/e] to adjust the mic level
level,
	touch Set.

Smart Range+

Correct for the loss of bright detail.

To set Smart	In Shooting mode, press [m] g Smart Range+
Range+ options,	an option.

Time Code (HDMI)

Time Code refers to a unique number assigned to each frame of a video file. It is useful for editing because the number is given for each frame and enables the synchronization with other device that outputs different formats. This functions allows the camera to send the time code to an external recorder* when they are connected via an HDMI cable. If a video is saved on the camera's memory card, the time code will not be recorded.

*External recorders that support Atomos Protocol v2.0 are currently supported and more recorders will be available soon.

To set Time Code	In Shooting mode, press [m] g Time Code (HDMI)
options,		an option.
		* Default
Option	Description
	Set to display or hide the time code.
Time Code	•	Off*: Do not display the time code.
	•	On: Display the time code.
	Set the hour, minute, second, and frame manually or
	set the time code to the camera’s time.
Time Notation	•	Manual Settings: Set the hour, minute, second, or
		frame number of the time code manually.
	• Camera Time*: Display the time code in the format
		of the time (hour, minute, second) set on the
		camera.
	Set to automatically adjust the gap between the
	recording time of the camera and the time code or
	make no change.
	•	Drop Frame*: Automatically adjusts the gap
Time Code Mode		between the recording time of the camera and the
		time code. This function is generally used when
		the accurate running time of a video, such as a TV
	•	program, is required.
		Non-Drop Frame: Do not adjust the gap between
		the recording time of the camera and the time code.
