1.Mirror: Displays your reflection when taking pictures and videos.

2.Thumbwheel: Allows you to navigate through menu options. Press briefly to either select an option or execute the selected application. Press and hold to display the Quick Launcher screen (as shown on page 10).

3.Battery Cover: Covers and secures the internal battery and the SIM card.

4.Camera Lens: Allows you to take photos or shoot video.

5.External Speaker: Allows you to hear the other caller and the different ring tones or sounds offered by your device.

6.Power/Accessory Interface Connector: Allows you to plug in the travel adapter (power), PC connection cable (data transfer), and optional headset for convenient hands-free conversations.

7.Volume Key: Allows you to adjust the earpiece volume or adjust the voice volume during a call.

8.Power Button: Press and hold to turn the device on or off. When the device is on, a short press displays the Quick List screen.

9.microSD™ card slot: Allows you to use the microSD card to expand the memory of your device.

10.Back-Clear/Camera Access Key: Allows you to clear an entry and return to a previous menu. This button is also user-configurable. (See "Device Customization" on page 43.) Press briefly to either clear an entry or go back to a previously active menu. Press and hold to launch the camera mode.

Turning Your Phone On and Off

To turn your phone on:

Press and hold the Power button , located at the top of the device, to turn your phone on.

Once your phone is On, it displays an icon which indicates that your phone is searching for a signal. When your phone finds a signal, it automatically enters standby mode – the phone’s idle state. At this point, you are ready to begin making and receiving calls.
