1.Position the cursor where you want the symbol to appear within your message.

2.Press and then press the key for the symbol you wish to insert.

To enter preset messages:

1.Position the cursor where you want to insert the preset text into your message.

2.Press Menu > My Text.

3.Scroll to a preprogrammed message and press .

Note: Preset messages (My Text) make composing text messages easier by allowing you to enter predefined text, such as “Meet me at,” or a customized preset message of your own. (For more information on preset messages, see "Using Preset Messages" on page 122.)
