Basic Features
Playing a 3D Game on a PC
First, install the SyncMaster 3 D Game Launcher (TriDef
3D) software.
SyncMaster 3D Game Launc her (TriDef 3D) is a
game driver that allows you to play PC game s in 3D.
1. Set your monitor as the default monitor for the PC.
2. Install the SyncMaster 3D Game Launcher (TriDef 3D)
software provided on a CD.
Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
You can also download the programme from www.
tridef.com/syncmaster and install it.
3. Select Start -> All Programs -> TriDef 3D, and run
SyncMaster 3D Game Launcher (TriDef 3D).
4. Press the "Search" button. Compatible games will be
added to SyncMaster 3D Game Launcher (TriDef 3D).
You can also add gamesusing the following methods.
Drag the shortcut icon or execution file of a game
on the desktop into the SyncMaster 3D Game
Launcher (TriDef 3D) window.
Go to "File" and select "add Games…"
5. Activate the 3D function on the product, and enjoy the
game wearing the 3D Active Glasses.
6. Play the game wearing 3D glasses.

Precautions when viewing 3D video
NOTE

The 3D effect may be experience d differently
depending on the viewer. You may not notice the 3D
effect at all if you have a prescription fo r one eye that
is very different from the other eye.
x
When viewing a 3D video under a fl uorescent lamp
or 3-wavelength lamp, you may notice a small
amount of screen flickering.
x
Interference may cause the 3D glas ses to
malfunction if there is any other 3D pro duct or
electromagnetic device (a microwave or a d evice
that uses 2.4 Ghz-bandwidth frequency suc h as
an Internet router) turned on nearby. Even if the 3 D
function works properly, it is best to remove othe r
electromagnetic devices or wir eless communications
devices nearby.

Visually-sensitive viewers may n otice a slight screen
flickering when viewing brig ht images in 50 Hz 3D
video.
x
As the TV turns on, the left and rig ht sides of 3D
pictures may overlap more than usual. It m ay take
time until the picture quality is optim ized.

3D Mode will automatically deacti vate when the
channel or input source is chang ed or when Smart
Hub is accessed.
x
The PIP function is not available whe n a 3D video is
playing.
x
The Picture icon under Smar t Hub will only be
enabled in
mode.

Some Picture functions are disa bled in 3D mode.
