ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try
these simple steps first.
Troubleshooting
Suggestion
• Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into
each charging cradle and wall outlet.
• Make sure both handsets are properly seated
in each charging cradle.
• Make sure the charging contacts on the
handset, base, and charging cradle are clean.
• Move the handset and/or base to a different
location away from metal objects or
appliances and try again.
• Press the SELECT/CH key to help eliminate
background noise.
• Make sure that the handset is not too far
from the base.
• Re-register both handsets (see page E9).
• Check both ends of the telephone line cord.
• Make sure the AC adapters are plugged into
both the base and wall outlet.
• Disconnect the AC adapter for a few minutes,
then reconnect it.
• Make sure that the handset is not too far
from the base.
• Charge the handset.
Symptom
The CHARGE/IN
USE LED or
CHARGE LED won't
illuminate when
the handset is
placed in the base
or charging cradle.
The audio sounds
weak and/or
scratchy.
Can't make or
receive calls.
