8 - 2 REPLACING AND ADJUSTING THE HANDLE’S VR

Never touch places other than those specified. Touching places not specified can cause electric shock and/or short circuit.

After the replacement or adjustment of the VR, be sure to set the variable value of the VR in the test mode’s Volume Setting.

REPLACING THE VOLUME

1Turn off the power.

2Disconnect the connector.

3Take out the 2 screws which secure the volume Bracket and remove the Volume Bracket.

4Take out the 2 screws to remove the Volume Gear and replace the Volume.

5After replacing the Volume, perform Volume setting in the Volume Setting Mode.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

1In the Test Mode, have the Volume value indicating screen displayed.

2Loosen the 2 screws which secure the Volume Bracket to disengage Gear Mesh.

3With the Steering Wheel in the centering position, cause gears to be engaged in the manner so that the Volume

Shaft is in the status shown below.

4Fasten screws which secure the Volume Bracket.

5Perform Volume setting as per the Volume Setting Mode.
