Setting up the VMX 100
Charging the battery in the headset
If you charge the battery for the first time, allow charging for at least 4 hours without interruption. Later, 2.5 hours suffice to fully charge the battery.
To charge the battery in the headset:
f Take off the headset and close the microphone boom . The headset is switched off.
f Connect the USB charging cable to the |

headset’s socket for power supply . | ||
f Connect the USB plug of the USB charg- | ||

ing cable to: |

• either the USB socket of the VMX 100 | ||
power supply |

•or the USB socket of the VMX 100 car charger unit (only VMX 100 3in1)
•or a USB socket of a computer.
f Connect either the power supply or the | ||
car charger unit to the appropriate | ||

power outlet. |

If the battery was completely drained, |

the LED flashes red in the beginning |
| |
of the charging process. During charging, |
| |
the LED lights up red. When charging |
| |
is complete, the LED lights up blue. |

The charging process cannot be started during an ongoing call. A fully charged battery provides a talk time of up to five hours or a standby time of up to 100 hours. When the battery is about to run flat:
