USER MAINTENANCE (For copying)

The document glass and the transport belt of the reversing automatic document feeder must be kept clean to avoid dirty areas from being copied onto the copies.

CAUTION

Do not use flammable spray to clean the machine. If gas from the spray comes in contact with hot electrical components or the fusing unit inside the machine, fire or electrical shock may result.

Wipe the document glass and the transport belt of the reversing automatic document feeder with a soft, clean cloth.

NOTE

When cleaning, do not use thinner, benzene, or similar volatile cleaning agents.

These may degrade or discolor the housing.
