L'appareil gardera son fonctionnement en cours même si une touche est pressée accidentellement (dans un train bondé par exemple).

Si on a mis une pile en place ou si l'adaptateur CA est raccordé, on peut activer cette fonction que l'appareil soit éteint ou allumé.

Pour annuler le mode de maintien

En mode de maintien, maintenir la touche HOLD enfon- cée pour 2 secondes ou plus.

L'appareil affiche "HOLD OFF".

Pour annuler le mode de maintien

Déplacer le commutateur HOLD dans le sens opposé de la flèche.

Si on active la fonction de maintien en laissant l'enre- gistreur éteint, ce dernier ne sera pas rallumé par er- reur et l'énergie de la pile ne sera pas consommée.
