Installing the Print Cartridge

Ink save mode

If you wish to use less ink or speed up ink drying time when printing faxes and copies, turn on ink save mode. If you prefer a higher quality image, turn off ink save mode.

♦Ink save mode is initially turned off.

1	Press	FUNCTION once and	twice.	Display:	PRINT SET-UP

2	Press	once and	3 times.		INK SAVE MODE

3	Press	once.			1=YES, 2=NO

4	Press	1 to turn on ink save mode, or			The display briefly shows
					your selection, then:
	2 to turn it off.				ALIGN CART.
5	Press	to return to the date and time display.
		STOP
