1Auto Power Off Function

Selectable items	Description
On	The projector automatically enters the
	standby mode when no input signal is
	detected for 15 minutes or longer.
Off	The Auto Power Off function will be
	disabled.

Note

•When the Auto Power Off function is set to “On”, 5 minutes before the projector enters the standby mode, the message “Enter STANDBY mode in X min.” will appear on the screen to indicate the remaining minutes.

2Auto Restart Function

Selectable items	Description
On	If the power cord is unplugged from the
	outlet or the breaker switch is turned off
	when the projector is on, then the
	projector automatically turns on when
	the power cord is plugged into the AC
	outlet or the breaker switch is turned on.
Off	The projector does not turn on auto-
	matically when the power cord is
	plugged into the AC outlet or the
	breaker switch is turned on.

3Setting the Confirmation Sound (System Sound)

Selectable items	Description
On	A confirmation sound is made when the
	projector turns on/off.
Off	No confirmation sound is made.

4Speaker Setting

This function allows you to set the audio output of the internal speaker to ÒOnÓ or ÒOffÓ such as when the projector is connected to an external amplifier.

Selectable items	Description
On	The audio signal is output from the internal
	speaker.
Off	The audio signal is not output from the
	internal speaker.

5Audio Output Type Setting

This function determines whether the audio level output from the AUDIO output (MONITOR output) terminal is fixed or variable by linking with VOL- UME.

Selectable items	Description
FAO	Audio output that does not vary in
(Fixed Audio	strength with the volume level of the
Output)	source projector.
VAO	Audio output that varies in strength with
(Variable	the volume level of the source projector.

•When “Audio Out” has been set to “VAO”, first make sure to lower the volume of the projector before turning the power on or off and when switching the input.

6Monitor Output

7LAN/RS232C

When set to ÒEnableÓ, the function is activated and power is consumed even in the standby mode. It is recommended that the function be set to ÒDis- ableÓ when it is not connected.This reduces power consumption when the projector is in the standby mode.

Enable	The function is activated even if the
	projector is in standby mode.
Disable	The function is switched off when the
	projector is in standby mode.

•When you want to control the projector using the LAN/RS232C function, select “Enable”.
