Auto redial

If you have activated Auto redial
and the phone numberyou are call-
ing is busy oryour call is not
answered,you can let your phone
make up to 10 automatic redial
attempts.
A special redialling success tone
is heard when the attempt is suc-
cessful.To cancel the auto redial
attempts,just press the left-hand
function key.

Anykey answer

You can answeran incoming call by
pressing any key you like,except
the left-hand function key and the
arrow key,by selecting »Any key
answeron«.

Time and charge

The time and charge menu offers
you the possibility of checking the
duration and cost of yourcalls.
However,the call charge feature
may not be supported by all net-
work operators.
Status Here you can see the
duration and cost of yourlatest
incoming and outgoing call,your
total incoming and total outgoing
calls and a total of all calls.You can
also see the remaining credit,if
any,(only if you have prepaid your
call charge).To reset yourtimers,
just press »RESET«.
Display Select whetheror not the
call timershould be shown in the
display during a conversation.
Setup
Enterthe unit price for your
calls (check with yournetwork
operator) and enterthe currency of
yourcall charge. It is also possible
to entera maximum call charge
limit; no more phone calls can be
made when this maximum has
been reached.
Facts & Tips
• Do not confuse Auto redial with the
call back function described on p.49.
In the Call back function,the network
automatically connects you to the
busy subscriberwhen he is no longer
engaged.
• Resetting of timers and setup of call
charge may require you to enteryour
PIN2 code.

Outgoing call ID

Select »Outgoing call identifica-
tion« to choose whetheror not the
persons you call should be able to
see yourphone number.

Speed dial

Activate »Speed dial« to make it
possible to call numbers in your
address orphone books from the
standby display by pressing only
one key.
Select »Define« and specify
which phone numberyou want to
assign to the keys 1 to 9.
If you should laterwant to
change something in the se-
quence of the allocated speed dial
numbers,press »SELECT« and
then select »Modify«.
If you want to remove the phone
numberfrom the allocated speed
dial key,select »Remove«.

Calleraccess

This feature allows you to limit the
numberof callers from which you
will accept calls.You can select
whetheryou want to receive calls
from »All callers«,from a »Single
caller« orfrom a »Group of callers«.
You will then be asked to define
the entries from which you will
accept calls.
As long as the calleraccess fea-
ture is activated,you will see this
symbol in the display.
If you receive a call from a num-
berfrom which you don’t allow
calls,the call will automatically be
rejected.You will be informed about
the rejected call by the sym-
bol in the display
Facts & Tips
• Deactivating
»Speed dial«
enables
you to enterletters, symbols and dig-
its in the standby display and thus
entera USSD message containing
both letters and digits.
• USSD (Unstructured Supple-
mentary Service Data) is a feature
completely defined by yournetwork
awhich allows direct communication
between you and yournetwork. An
example of using USSD could be if
entering a certain code of digits
and/orletters terminated by # tells
yournetwork to send you a list of
charges.
