Sync Station

You can establish a “fixed“ connec- tion between phone and PC via the Sync Station.

(GLW Activate the infra-red data transfer.

Indicator on the display:

Integral modem

The phone has an integral modem that is used for the data exchange via infra-red or cable.

Connect the mains power socket

and the Sync Station nwith the plug-in power supply.

Without connected power supply unit, data transfer is not available!

Connect the Sync Station o by the connecting cable to the serial interface of the PC.

Insert phone into the Sync Station pand press downward until it engages.

TThe contact message is displayed.

IrDA (infra-red)

If the infra-red interface integrated in the phone is used, the other device must also have such an interface.

Align the infra-red windows with each other (max. distance 30 cm).

Conforms to V.25 command set.

Speed:

Conforms to the ITU-T standard V.22bis (transfer at 2.400, 4.800 and 9.600 bit/s) .

Fax:

Fax at 2.400, 4.800, 7.200 and 9.600 bit/s.

Conforms to service class 2.

Setting on the PC

To transmit data or faxes by means of communications software in the PC, you must install a standard mo- dem in its operating system:

Standard modem with 19.200 bit/s,

Fax 9.600 bit/s maximum,

Infra-red 115.000 bit/s.
