Switching off or answering an appointment alarm

Press the display key Silence to deactivate the appointment call or select MMS to respond with an MMS.

Displaying missed appointments, and anniversaries

Missed appointments/anniversaries (page 50/page 14) are stored in the Missed Dates list in the following cases.

uYou do not keep an appointment/ anniversary.

uThe handset is switched off at the time of the appointment/anniversary.

The newest entry is at the beginning of the list.

sSelect appointment/ anniversary.

This will display information about the appointment/ anniversary. A missed

appointment is marked

with ¼, a missed anniversary with .

Delete Press the display key to delete the appointment/anniversary

If there is a new appointment/anniversary in the list, the display shows Appoint. Pressing the display key also opens the Missed Dates list.

If the list contains 30 entries, the oldest entry is deleted when the next appointment call rings.

Restoring the handset to factory settings

You can reset individual settings and changes you have made. This will not affect entries in the directory, the calls list, the email directory or the speed dial list, the handset's registration to the base station and the contents of the File Manager. The appendix provides an overview of the default settings, page 58.

Base station settings

All the settings for the base station are made with a registered Gigaset SL74 handset.

Protection against unauthorised access

Protect the base station system settings with a system PIN that only you know. The system PIN must now be entered for handset registration/de-registration, restoring factory settings, internal activation or barring numbers, for example.
