Entering/changing an SMS centre

You should find out about the services and special functions offered by your service provider before you make a new application and/or before you delete pre- configured call numbers.

Service Centres

Select and press OK.

sSelect a centre, e.g. Service Centr.3, and press OK.

vIn Active send: select Yes if you want SMS centre 3 as your send centre. The previously selected send service centre is automatically deactivated. Any centre other than Service Centr.1 will only be used as the send centre for the next message.

sScroll to the SMS: line.

Edit	Press the display key.

~Enter the phone number of the SMS centre.

©	Press the display key.

Save Entry Select and press OK.

sScroll to the E-Mail:line.

Edit	Press the display key.

~Enter the number of the email service.

© Press the display key. Save Entry Select and press OK.

Save	Press the display key.

aLong press (idle status).

Note:

Ask your service provider for details of how you should enter service numbers if you wish to use personal mailboxes (assuming your service provider supports this function).

SMS (text messages)

Sending text messages via a different SMS centre

You want to send a text message via a different SMS centre (SMS centres 2 – 5):

uActivate the SMS centre as send centre (p. 27).

uSend the text message.

This setting only applies for the next text message to be sent. After that, SMS centre 1 is activated again.

SMS info services

You can have your service provider send information (e.g. weather forecasts or lottery numbers) by text message. Up to 10 info services can be stored.

Ask your service provider about the services offered and how much they cost.

The telephone comes supplied with

10 info services of the SMS service ("Anny Way") pre-configured ready for ordering. You can change these entries.

sSelect info service.

Send Press the display key.

Changing info services

Select info service (see above). Now:

View	Press the display key.
Edit	Press the display key.

~Change the code, name and/ or number as appropriate.

Save	Press the display key.

Deleting info services

Select info service (see above). Now:

vOpen menu.

Delete Entry Select and press OK.
