Using other overview mode functions:

Send

Send MMS message (p. 32).

Save

Store MMS message in the MMS-Draftlist.

Default settings

When you write an MMS message, the default settings will apply unless you change them.

Expiry Time

Period during which the MMS centre tries to deliver the message: 6 hours ,

12hours, 1 day, 1 week, Maximum

(Maximum period permitted by the service provider).

Priority

Send priority: Low , Normal, High.

Page Duration

Display duration for an MMS page. Use this value to define how long an MMS page is to be displayed to the addressee. The MMS page is displayed for at least as long as the longest sound/longest animation lasts.

Sending MMS messages

Your phone line is busy while an MMS message is being sent/received.

In overview mode for writing the MMS header:

Send

Select and press OK. You are

 

now told the size of the MMS

 

message to be sent.

Confirm the prompt.

 

The MMS message is sent.

All MMS messages sent are stored in the MMS outgoing message list.

If a problem occurs while the MMS message is being sent, this message will be stored in the MMS "not sent" list

(p. 32).

Lists

MMS messages are stored in four lists:

uInbox (Incoming message list)

Contains received MMS messages and notifications (p. 33).

uDraft (Draft message list)

Contains drafts of MMS messages, sorted by date. Press Send to send MMS message, Play to play MMS message.

uSent (Outgoing message list)

Contains sent MMS messages, sorted by date. Use Delete to delete displayed MMS message, use Play to play message.

uUnsent ("not sent" list)

Contains MMS messages if a problem arose during sending. Use Send to send MMS message, the MMS message is automatically moved to the outgoing message list. Use Play to play message.

You can also call up the MMS incoming message list using the message key f (p. 16) if there are new MMS messages present.

Menu options

Press vfor the following list options:

Reply (Incoming message list) Reply to an MMS message. The overview mode is opened for putting together the content of the MMS message (p. 30). The sender's telephone number is automatically copied to the entry field To and Re: added to the reference line.

Forward (Incoming/outgoing message list) Forward the MMS message.

The content of MMS messages for forwarding cannot be changed. The overview mode is opened for writing the MMS header (p. 31).
