Operating more than one handset

Registering handsets

You can register up to six handsets with your base station.

A Gigaset SL74 handset can be registered on up to four base stations.

You must initiate handset registration on the handset and on the base station.

The base station search is cancelled after 60 seconds. If registration has not been completed inside this time, repeat the process.

On the base station

Press and hold the Registration/Paging key on the base station. Registration is initiated.

On the handset

sSelect base station, e.g. Base 1 and press OK.

~Enter the system PIN of the base station (the default is 0000) and press OK.

In the display you will see for example Base 1 flashing.

Other handsets with GAP functionality

To connect other handsets, start to register the handset as described in its operating instructions.

De-registering handsets

You can de-register any registered Gigaset SL74 handset from any other registered handset.

Looking for a handset ("Paging")

You can use the base station to look for your handset.

Briefly press the Registration/Paging key on the base station. All the handsets will ring at the same time ("Paging").

End paging:

÷/c Briefly press the Registration/ Paging key on the base station or the talk key on the handset.
