The following settings are only necessary if your PABX requires them, please refer to the operating instructions for your PABX.

You cannot send or receive SMS/ MMS messages on PABXs that do not support Calling Line Identification.

Dialling modes and flash times

The current setting is marked with .

1. Step: Changing the dialling mode

The following dialling modes can be selected:

uTone dialling (DTMF),

uDTMF earth (country-specific),

uPulse dialling (DP).

Storing the access code (outside line code)

Precondition: Your PABX may require you to enter an access code before the telephone number when making an

external call, e. g. "0".

aLong press (idle status).

If you have stored an access code, the following will apply:

uThe access code is inserted automatically when dialling from the following lists: emergency numbers, SMS service centre numbers, calls list.

uYou have to add the access code yourself during dialling and when entering directory, emergency/call director numbers and SMS service centre numbers manually.

uIf you use the telephone number from the directory when sending a text message, you have to delete the access code.

uYou can delete an access code with X. To insert a pause, press ©, sInsert Pause OK or ©, sInsert Recall OK.
