PC Interface

You can connect the Gigaset SL74 handset to your computer using the data cable supplied. Your computer can then communicate with your Gigaset SL74 and access parameters and lists on your handset using a program you can download free of charge at http:// www.siemens-mobile.com/gigasetsl740. This permits:

uthe downloading of polyphonic ringer tones and logos

uthe synchronisation of Outlook contacts with the directory

uthe synchronisation of Outlook appointments

During data transfer between the handset and the computer, the screen displays Data Transfer. During transfer, no entries are possible via the keypad and incoming calls are ignored.
