Listening to the Radio
Preset radio stations in the system’s memory first (see “Presetting Radio Stations” on page 35).

1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “TUNER” appears in the front panel display.
The last received station is tuned in, and the TUNER information appears on the TV screen.
2 Press PRESET + or – repeatedly to select the preset station you want.
Each time you press the button, the system tunes in one preset station.
3 Adjust the volume by pressing VOL +/–.
To turn off the radio
Press 1.
To listen to
Use manual or automatic tuning in Step 2. For manual tuning, press TUNING + or – on the remote repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold TUNING + or – on the remote.
zIf an FM program is noisy
Press STEREO/MONO on the remote so that “MONO” appears in the front panel display. There will be no stereo effect, but the reception will improve. Press the button again to restore the stereo effect.
zTo improve reception
Reorient the supplied antennas.
zYou can also operate the system on the control unit. For details, see “Using the control button” on page 38.
To check the sound field
Press DISPLAY.
The TUNER information closes and the sound field appears on the TV screen. After a few seconds, the sound field screen closes and the TUNER information appears again.
